I've always harboured hopes that one day, science will progress to the point where I can have my wussy bone-and-marrow skeleton replaced with adamantium and my brain hardwired to 100% happythink. Yep, my not-so-secret love of robots has never been far from the forefront of my mind. I have, however, abandoned my teenage dress-up idiocy (as seen below) in favour of a more subtle ode to my jerky stainless steel friends.
Leather jacket and bag - secondhand from Jenny, robodress - Zara, creepers - New Look, bandana - found in Oli's sock drawer.
In keeping with the electro-techno theme, here's a fitting song by one of my longtime fave bands, the inimitable Robots in Disguise. You might recognise them from their appearances in the Mighty Boosh, and if you haven't already heard them you really must. Their music and crackers jumpsuit-laden wardrobe pretty much defined my late teens. Enjoy!
